Starport Galactic Empires is a free, galactic strategy game set in outer space where you play a spaceship pilot. You start by choosing a name and launch the adventure in this multiplayer game that offers 2D full screen graphics and high detail (77MB says so).

Starport Galactic Empires lets you choose three characteristics for your pilot: charisma, skill and wisdom, with which you can manage commerce, combat and the colonies respectively. In this aspect, Starport Galactic Empires has touches of role-playing too.

Starport Galactic Empires also comes equipped with its own Chat for you to communicate with other players, and even join other clans if you wish. Your objective is to manage the colonies well and become the best spaceship pilot.
